October Favorites!!

 My Favorites for Beauty

-This month I mostly relied on the Physicians formula Nude eyeshadow Palette to get me ready in seconds- I highly approve anyone to get their own!
-I did so many make up transformations this month I utilized the ELF eye lid primer daily! Works pretty great for being so cheap!!
-I don't know why but I started using something I had kept hidden in the back of my make up trunk... NYC brand pink rose lipstick- i don't know why but i was really feelin shiny pink lipstick this month!
-I used up my October Glam bag eye shadow quad form Coastal Scents- amazinggggggg eye shadows!!
-The red lip lacquer by Mirenesse was great for creating dramatic make up looks this month!
-I'm almost all out of my fabulous Be a Bombshell eyeliner pen- saved my life all through October with all the drawing on my face I had to do!
-I needed the translucent finishing powder by L'Oreal to create my pale ghostly faces :) worked like a charm, but now I'm running out!  A definite "must buy again".
-I used the Monoi split end sealer on my hair- I recently went blonde so I thought I'd help out the ends a lil..
-and finally, my Pequi oil treatment ahhh left my hair soft and had a pleasant floral scent.

Zombie Walk 2012

I originally bought this dress from Savors- it is an 80s wedding dress.
The fit was baggy and frumpy with big puffy sleeves and the front was all lacy with beads in a turtle neck style.. i cut the neckline into a sexy corset sleeveless style (with corset tie up in back) then created a bustle.
Destroying process: I shredded the gown, and veil, burned pieces of it..blood stained it...used black spray paint to create a dirty , worn, burnt effect to it..

October Ipsy Bag: Hello Bombshell!

What's in the bag:
The Balm "What's your type" black mascara "body builder"  tiny sample tube 0.11fl oz
Mirenesse Lip Bomb in 02 red full size product 0.11oz
Couture Colour Pequi oil treatment 0.5 fl oz
Be a Bombshell eye liner pen full size product in Onyx black
Coastal Scents eye shadow quad sampler in set #4

WOO!! I really couldn't wait for this months glam bag! The Bombshell theme  seemed fun and the sneak peaks looked amazing!
The mascara from the Balm was realllllyyyy small and after using it it seemed like every other generic mascara- the wand was same as a generic mascara and the formula didn't seem any different either- i prefer Ulta brand Lash Extensions lengthening mascara.
The Lip Bomb from Mirenesse seemed very luscious, glossy and sexy.. i received the blood red color...which i thought was rather bold and i knew i would have to be brave to try it. It looks great on and i noticed it stayed on all day!  through eating, drinking... it had great staying power- didn't fade! I find this to be one of the best products/ brands that Myglam/Ipsy has offered us! i did research buying more- these lip lacquers retail for over 30 dollars!! Very thankful to have had the chance to try this out- especially since i rarely buy or use make up- it was a fun experience!!
The Pequi oil treatment was a pleasant surprise! I tried it out and it left a nice softness to my hair and it smelled incredible- I will be buying a full size of this product!!
The Be a Bombshell liner was pretty cool! and came at a perfect time since i just ran out of liquid liner. I loved it and it was my number one essential this Halloween with all my tutorials for Youtube!
The Coastal scents eye shadows were probably my favorite thing i got this month! I am so happy i got a dreamy combo of silver and blues (my fave eye colors) i really loved them, they were great quality, and i would buy these!
I really loved the Hello Bombshell Ipsy bag! I hope i don't run out of product from using them all too much haha!

My Only BirchBox.. (September) review

OKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK I procrastinated reviewing this Birchbox because I really wasn't too satisfied with it at all.... compared to other beauty bag/box subscriptions. I had heard such great things about BB that I subbed. I liked the packaging.. cute pink box and then another little box- which I will recycle for Christmas wrapping.
WHAT'S IN THE BOX:
Some kind of "gift card" to a clothing site... $25 if you spend $75... kinda lame...
It came with a "Fall Look book" which I found very plain and boring... I will be making my own Fall look book on here soon! *watch out for that!*

1) I was excited to see the POREfessional from Benefit
REVIEW: I'm semi new to make up, and i thought maybe this was a pore minimizer or some sort , but it isn't... it just reduces the "appearance" of pores... its like a delicate make up cover up. It does work...just not the way I'd hoped.
2) Color Club nail polish in Insta-This (bright blue shade)
REVIEW: I didn't like it at first, but after putting it on I truly started to love it!  Beautiful color and didn't chip for a looong time!!
3) Kate Spade fragrance sample Twirl
REVIEW: Again- at first I hated this and a month laterIi smelled it again and loved it- hahah my mind hates everything at first I suppose! I think I said it smelled like "old lady" on youtube... it has a very sophisticated scent- i rather enjoy it! I also liked the sample had a spray top instead of a pull off top.
4) Nexxus Pro mend split end treatment system
REVIEW: I loooove Nexxus, so I was happy to receive this sample
5) Twistband hair tie
REVIEW: These work pretty nice at not snagging your hair!  i loved the lavender color and i liked the product.
An Extra: We received a "Tilly bag"- which is a colorfully printed zip lock bag, i think they advertise it as a bag for small items while traveling....
VERDICT: Even though I liked the items I received..  they weren't worth $10 I think... a lot of the things in the box were samples anyone could get for free  and then I thought the full size product costs were ridiculous!
*sigh* maybe I'll sub to Birchbox again in the future, but right now I'm having fun with the beauty subscription i have now (Ipsy).
